"Having once photographed the people of the world's most populous country, I saw it fitting to now focus on the second-most populous country." The result of this epic trek, Carter hopes, will be his second sentence of photography, INDIA: Portrait of a People. It will be the American photographer's first visit to the Republic of India, howoverly Carter will travel the unabridgedty of the vast South Asian nation.
